a special note

Namaste Yogi,

I hope you are keeping as well as can be during this difficult time. 

 

As of recently, our lives as we know it have been stopped in its tracks. Our routines are disrupted. Our minds may be uneasy. 

At this time, we are reminded of how connected we all are. What affects one person has an effect on another. We are reminded of equality -  regardless of race, societal status, financial situation or religion, the disease treats us all the same. No exemptions. We are reminded of the impermanent nature of all phenomena and the fragility of our lives, just like a bubble on the waters surface.

 

I once said to someone I love, "it is only through the darkness that we can appreciate the stars".  Let us now use this as an opportunity to reflect and change. Let us continue the sadhana - not just physically, but mentally too.

 

It's time to adapt and change our practice to the online world, where we can do our part to share the space on the mat safely and responsibly as a citizen of the world. May our practice of yoga extend beyond the mat, into our daily lives.

Abundance: £11 per class
Regular: £9 per class

The reality is that everyone's finances are up in the air at the moment. Some of you can afford to pay more, some less if you are unable to work right now. If you are affected (especially freelancers), please let me know. I believe that yoga is for everyone, especially during these tough times. This is exactly when we should be practising the most, both on and off the mat. We will make it work - everyone is always welcome!

I offer private and smaller group sessions, which always includes an initial complimentary consultation where we will explore your specific needs on an individual basis. 

Whether you are completely new to yoga or have a regular practice, classes are completely bespoke and can be modified accordingly to suit your needs.

Wellbeing in the workplace is receiving increasing attention, following the backing of notable leaders such as Arianna Huffington, given the greater pressures and demands required of employees. Investing in workplace inclusivity, health and happiness is crucial to greater productivity and decreasing churn rates.

Having worked in the media industry for just under a decade, I have personally benefited from attending yoga sessions offered at the agencies I worked in; prompting me to be more mindful and translate the practice off the mat to the workplace itself.
